When it comes to online music streaming, there can’t be a more popular name than Spotify worldwide. According to Statista Research Department in Q1, Spotify owns around 30% of the music streaming subscribers worldwide. However, Spotify isn’t really unrivalled. Apple Music isn’t far beyond, with 25% of the music streaming subscribers worldwide. So, between the top 2 music streaming giants, Apple fanatics seem to prefer Apple Music and the reason is pretty obvious, THE APPLE ECOSYSTEM.
So, in this article, we’ll help you with easy to use steps to copy your playlist from Spotify to Apple Music.
To copy your Spotify Playlist to Apple Music:
Download SongShift from Apple App Store.
To connect your Apple Music to SongShift app:
- Open SongShift app.
- Select Apple Music.
- Tap Continue to authorize SongShift.
- Tap Connect to allow access local library.
- Tap OK on your iPhone pop-up if prompted.
- Tap Connect to allow access cloud library.
- Authorize your Apple ID.
- Tap Allow to allow access request to Apple Music.
Access for SongShift to your Apple Music will be granted. You will be able to see Apple Music in the Connected Services section.
To connect your Spotify to SongShift app:
- Open SongShift app.
- Select Spotify.
- Sing in to your account.
Access for SongShift to your Spotify will be granted. You will be able to see Spotify in the Connected Services section.
To copy playlist from Spotify to Apple Music
- Open SongShift app.
- After connecting services, tap Continue.
- Tap Get Started.
- From the My Shifts page, click + on the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Setup Source.
- Tap Spotify.
- Tap Continue.
- Select any one of the Playlists listed in the screen.
Note: The free version of SongShift allows you to copy only one Playlist at a time. You cannot copy multiple playlists together.
- Tap Done on the top-right corner of the screen.
- Apple Music is selected by default destination.
- Click Edit icon on the right of Apple Music.
- Select if you want to create a new playlist or use an existing playlist on Apple Music to copy the songs from Spotify playlist.
- Tap I’m Finished.
The songs will be processed and once ready, tap the playlist under Ready for Review.
- Tap Confirm Matches.
- Tap Continue once the songs are copied.
The songs copied from Spotify will be available in the Apple Music.
